1. Frank Woods
2. Joseph Bowman
3. Terrance Brooks
4. Bruce Harris
5. Viktor Reznov
6. Daniel Clarke
7. Sergei Kozin
8. Dimitri Petrenko
Four other minor players, Tvelvin, Swift, Belov, and Vigarov, die in this game. But where not a major part of any mission/part of the game
1. Frank Woods- In Mission Payback, Kravchenko is about to kill shoot you. Your friend Woods saves you and stabs him in the back. They both are thrown into a grenade explosion. Woods had no time to run away or throw the bomb back. You think he's dead... BUT! In your E-mail, there will be a message. Type something in the computer, I don't know which. But it says a note about Woods not being dead. He went to prison. I think in BO2 You're Woods in a mission and you try escaping,
2. Joseph Bowman- Woods' right hand man. His death is in the same mission as Woods' In a small Vietnam prison. He gets tortured by a Russian officer. He calls him "Communist Piece of s***" The Russian gets angry and whacks Bowman's head three times with a metal pipe. Mason the main character calls him a "F***ing Son of a *****" and later on shoots him. There was no sign of him being alive :(
3. Terrance Brooks- A CIA officer. Only seen in two missions, W.M.D. and Executive Order. In Executive Order. You meet up with him, with Woods and Bowman to save a Russian soldier, Weaver. He may seem minor at first. But the end has him with Jason Hudson the most important players, since Woods and Bowman are dead. I'm talking about Brooks, not Weaver. As I was saying, Brooks was one of the members of Kilo One in W.M.D. He was supposed to climb a mountain into the Nova 6 station. An avalanche starts. He failed to escape. And "supposedly" died. His death was the least known death.
4. Bruce Harris- He was one of the members of Kilo One. He was only seen in W.M.D. While going through a bridge, an RPG destroys the ridge and makes Harris fall to his doom. It's revealed that he's most scared of heights. So um, yeah :(
5. Viktor Reznov- One of the fan favorites in Call of Duty: World at War. In his early soldier days, he fought for Russia in World War II. When he escapes a boat from it exploding, with his friend, Nevski. He's too injured to run. And sent to labor camp, Vorkuta. He meets Mason, and they jump a train to escape from a truck. Only Mason jumped, not Reznov. He was driving a truck trying to get away from two other trucks and a helicopter. In "The Defector" You see Reznov and for the next few missions, you see Reznov but your people around don't. That's because that Reznov was fake. The one at Vorkuta was real, though. So Reznov was surely dead..... 50%! Hudson's email from "John Trent" says: "Tell Mason, it's freedom for both of us" Who could this John Trent be? Is it Reznov? Or maybe Woods or Bowman....
6. Daniel Clarke- A scientist who help created the deadly Nova 6. He USED to be working for the main enemy, Dragovich. He was gonna fall off a building, but Hudson grabs him. So he's alive, right? WELL WRONG! One of the soldiers shot his brains out and left him dead. :(
7. Sergei Kozin- He was a prisoner at Vorkuta. He was a monster and can take out three guards at time with his bare hands. Throughout the mission. He was gunless. He kept an ax that was used once. For ONE guard. He opens a garage sized door for you. But gets crushed to death.
8. Dimitri Petrenko- In Reznov's back-story. He talks about his closest friend, Petrenko. He was the main player in World at War. He was tested by the Nova 6 chemical by Dragovich. Reznov wanted revenge for this, and brainwashed Mason to kill his main enemies, Nikita Dragovich, Lev Kravchenko, and Friedrich Steiner.
